Challenge Stuffs

So, I'm going to be hosting a challenge for an as of now top sekrit read-a-thon thingamajig soon, and, after seeing slight variations on what is basically the same tired old challenge over and over again, I decided that maybe there was a reason for this.

I, personally, would much rather do a unique challenge then one that I could copy and paste one of my previous answers into, but, since I won't be participating in this challenge, that doesn't really matter. Now, for my point in this entire post:

What would you like from a challenge? What is the ideal challenge for you in particular? Are there any specific types of prizes you'd like to see?

Also, I'm looking for some new blogs to link to from my sidebar, since it's looking sadly empty recently, so if you run a blog or know of any that I'd like, drop me a link in the comments and I'll stop by and check it out.
